Just like 1902! It's funny to read old accounts of backyard geniuses who invented an airplane, except they never flew.
Reminds me of the cargo cult tards in Africa building "aircraft".
If you managed to fly it to Mexico they'd still find a way to boost some parts off of it (why I never left our Sabreliner there overnight, I had grown fond of our hydraulic pump accessed in the aft outside bay).
