We learned that in order for BMW to qualify for some kind of German "Green Business Award" certificate they use recycled plastics under the hood - and there's a lot there, surrounding the engine and ducting the radiator. And it's crap-plastic that breaks inside the first two years and I don't think it's covered by any kind of warranty like drivetrain or engine internals - and it's not cheap to replace! We've had three radiators and radiator/engine shroud parts in my wife's '94 530i, but the good radiators are not BMW made replacements, it's a superior aftermarket brand. And the BMW A/C units are small and sucky - not as effective as desired.

I bought one of these but I had to return it because it came with three wheels and two transmissions.
